A great way for a group to try something new and exciting!

Are you interested in trying a unique team sport that is exciting, competitive, and a total blast? Then broomball is the game for you! Broomball is becoming more and more popular amongst church groups, fraternities, sororities, university clubs, businesses, and social groups in general. In the past, we have host birthday parties, business meetings, youth group outings, and more centered around playing broomball. No matter what the occasion, broomball brings people together with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition. The object of the game is simple--score more goals than the opposing team. A player uses a stick with a rubber broom-shaped head to maneuver, pass, and shoot a ball up and down the ice. The rink is set up identically to a hockey game with nets at each end, but rules such as off-sides and icing do not exist. Similarly to hockey, the game also draws comparisons to soccer, lacrosse, and even basketball in that the object of the game is to pass the ball around to set up the best possible shot on goal. Goalies are allowed, and while you can use your feet to move the ball, you cannot use your hands at all and you cannot kick the ball in the goal. Rules such as game length, team sizes, and penalties are up to each individual group. Give us a call today for more information or to set up your next broomball event. Friday and Saturday evening are the most commonly available, but call for all available options.
